From the idea to the product, we would be pleased to support you in your project with the following services and advise you on possibilities for funding at the state, federal and EU level as well as selected Commonwealth funding opportunities.

The development and management of national and international networks is part of our core business.

We have extensive know-how in the field of ZIM network and cluster management and support partner companies and scientific institutions to identify ideas and joint projects within our networks. Our network managers accompany the application for financing of innovation projects and ensure reporting and accounting to the project sponsors in compliance with the guidelines.

We also ensure a constant exchange between the participating companies and scientific cooperation partners at home and abroad.

Innovations are created from an interdisciplinary perspective

In 2018 we started to expand the international „T+I Circular Bioeconomy Cluster“ by adding three additional networks. The cluster gives network partners the opportunity to exchange interdisciplinary information with partners of the other networks within the framework of joint events. In addition, further innovation potentials and partners for the implementation of R&D activities can be identified.

About ZIM

ZIM (Zentrales Innovationsprogramm Mittelstand) is the most successful German funding program of the Federal Government in supporting innovative, medium-sized companies. ZIM pursues the goal of supporting unique advancements and the development of market-ready products in small and medium-sized companies. They promote individual, cooperation and network projects as well as services for market introduction. SMEs receive funding for up to 55% (national project) or 60% (international project) of their project costs while research institutions receive 100%. More information about ZIM

About LuTraCo

Within the framework of the „STARK“ funding guideline of the BMWi, T+I supports the transformation dynamics in Lusatia with the LuTraCo program with the aim of strengthening economically sustainable circular processes in agriculture and forestry as well as in water and food management.

About MB-CRC

The Marine Bioproducts Cooperation Research Center (MB-CRC) have been awarded $59 million from the Commonwealth over the next ten years. Together with partner cash and in-kind contributions, the MB-CRC partnership has $270 million to prosecute its exciting research, development, and commercialisation program to transform Australia’s marine bioproducts sector into a globally competitive industry.

MB CRC partners from industry and Universities and associated partners e.g. T+I (Germany) are involved in making the program a success.

The MB-CRC has been designed to provide the innovation foundation and organisational support for the marine bioproducts industry sector across the supply and value chain as it drives to become a major export earner for Australia over the next decade.

T+I is welcome you to send your interest on the MB CRC.

As part of our innovation and financing consulting, we identify current and future market and technology trends. Based on these, we derive the necessary innovation strategies and development priorities for interested SMEs in order to remain competitive in the future.

In order to meet the financial requirements, we work together with you, as the interested SME, to examine national and international funding and financing offers that are suitable for the implementation of the planned innovation and growth projects. This primarily concerns the funding offers of the BMWi within the framework of the ZIM guideline as well as other funding offers of the federal and state governments for innovation and growth projects. In addition, T+I can examine funding and financing offers from the EU and the Commonwealth for selected R&D projects.

Following the successful acquisition of R&D funding, T+I offers competent support in the administration of applications and in the accounting of the funding streams in accordance with the guidelines.

Go Inno

Companies in the commercial sector, including handicrafts, which want to introduce an innovative product or an innovative technical process in their company with the help of external consulting, can use a German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy innovation voucher from the „go innovative“ program. They must have fewer than 100 full-time employees at the time the consultancy contract is concluded.

With this voucher, up to 50 percent of the selected consulting services at the respective service level (potential analysis, realization concept, project management) can be subsidized.

Go digital

If you are a small or medium-sized company in the commercial or trade sector and want to digitize your operations, we support you using the two modules „Digitized Business Processes“ and „IT Security“ in optimizing processes and tapping additional market shares through digitization.

Here up to 50 percent of the selected consulting services in the respective category can also be subsidized.

As an authorized consulting firm for these programs, we will take over the acquisition and processing of the subsidies for you.

If you are interested in one of the programs, please visit the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) homepage.

With our consulting tool “VC-POINT”, we help start-ups and innovative medium-sized companies to prepare and raise venture capital to finance their growth strategy.

We work along the entire value chain from start-up, growth and expansion, to financing in the context of succession planning.

Furthermore, we support our clients in their approach to investors and the professional preparation for investor due diligence.

In doing so, we draw on a unique database that currently contains the financing offers of over 1,400 active institutional investors and corporate venture providers from Germany and abroad.

VC Point

In order to obtain sound information for important strategic decisions, more and more medium-sized companies are relying on market and competition analyses.

A further specialty of T+I is conducting analyses on topics such as market entry, customer identification, market trends, competition and internationalization. We take the work off our clients‘ shoulders and use appropriate tools to extract relevant and trustworthy data. We are happy to examine your ideas at an early stage in terms of feasibility, financing capability, prototype testing, marketability and competition.

What are the advantages of membership in a ZIM innovation network?

In general, ZIM networks have the objective to tackle a defined topic area. Cooperation projects are then developed out of the network.

The advantage of the network is that T+I as a management institution supports project planning and preparation. With many years of experience, T+I accompanies the network partners from brainstorming and composition of the project consortia to the coordination and support in the application process.

Furthermore, a network offers the possibility to exchange ideas with other partners from different industries.

What administrative work does the company have to do when requesting a German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy innovation voucher?

The administrative work associated with all public funding is carried out by T+I, as authorized by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. As a rule, no administrative work is incurred on the company being advised. In order to redeem the innovation voucher, however, the following obligations do arise:

  • Legally binding signature of the innovation voucher
  • Participation in the project according to the consulting contract
  • Confirmation of service provision after completion
  • Payment of the required (partial) contribution

How is the cooperation in a ZIM Innovation Network regulated?

As the commissioned network management institution, T+I will regulate the parameters of the cooperation, including both content and finance, with the all the partners involved in the project.

How do I check whether my company is eligible for funding?

T+I supports you in determining eligibility for funding on the basis of the existing guidelines of the funding program. All that is needed is a set of limited information about your company.

T+I is actively involved in partnerships and projects for the following locations:
