Solutions for sustainable CO₂ use

Managed by T+I Consult

Goals

The international ZIM innovation network Carbon Matters aims to develop innovative solutions for the sustainable utilisation of carbon. The focus is on the topics of
  • CO₂ binding,
  • CO₂ conversion processes,
  • innovative carbon-based products, building materials and applications as well as
  • monitoring systems for the ecological assessment of environmental impacts.
The goal of the network is to play a pioneering role in establishing a CO₂-based circular economy and to create value chains by integrating innovative technologies and sustainable processes. The network provides the necessary platform for exchange between companies and research institutions that have expert knowledge at different points of the value chain. The network focuses on national and international partnerships to initiate and successfully implement R&D projects for developments on innovative carbon utilisation.
